ABOUT

Born and raised in Utah, Shelley has been a ham since the beginning.  From singing the saddest show tune ballads in her front yard (to no one in particular), the time she 'fainted' in front of moving vehicles to sell lemonade and then ultimately learning that adults shouldn't be selling lemonade - it's always been clear to those around her that a. her social boundaries are seriously lacking  b. she's fine tuned the art of bull shitting and c. it makes sense that she'd end up becoming a comedian.

After almost ten years in New York City where she attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, The New School and the School for Hard Knocks, Shelley made her way to Los Angeles for an internship at Ambush Entertainment - now known as The Film Arcade and eventually found herself studying at The Groundlings

You can find Shelley performing stand up around LA at The Comedy Store, Westside Comedy Theater and literally any place that will have her.  She's seriously not picky.

Favorites roles include Into the Woods (Witch and Baker's Wife), Constellations (Maryanne), Bye Bye Birdie (Ursela),  Harvey (Nurse Kelly), See How They Run (Penelope) and Five Women...(Georgeanne).
